The Structural Engineer will be working with in-house Development, Architecture, and Construction teams to provide Structural Design and Quality Assurance on industrial (distribution, manufacturing, food and beverage, and cold storage) projects for our nationwide clients.

• Structural Engineer is involved from the beginning to foresee preliminary design problems.
• Focus is on problem solving. The Architect, Engineer, and Contractor are on the same team.
• Project designs based on construction schedule versus fully finished package.
• Preliminary pricing advantages due to historical construction experience.
• Value engineering is ongoing as the design is refined.
• Input from jobsite can identify construction issues.
• Projects can be designed to the builder’s strength.
• Opportunity for site and Quality visits to assist in solving field issues.
• Relationship building with Field Staff (Superintendents and other on-site personnel).

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with Structural emphasis.
• Master’s Degree with Structural emphasis preferred.
• As an Entry Level Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for performing structural engineering design and analysis under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer.
• Team oriented attitude is a must.
• Resilient and adaptable to design changes.

• This position is based in Lenexa, KS.
• Our clients and projects are nationwide – so some travel will be required.

• 3-D CAD experience is a plus.
