Job Title: Regional Head of Solutions Portfolio and Engineering - Water Treatment - Americas

What is the job about? You will lead our newly formed Water Treatment Solutions Portfolio & Engineering organization across the Americas region. Responsible for product strategy, innovation, R&D, product lifecycle management, application development, and engineering execution.

Reporting directly to the Head of Water Treatment – Americas, you collaborate with key stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Sales, and Service. This role is pivotal in driving alignment between market needs and technical solutions to support growth and customer satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Develop and execute a unified strategy for engineering, product management, and innovation across all WT Americas.
  • Drive the integration of legacy teams (Newterra, MECO, Water Works) into a single, high‑performing organization with standardized tools and processes fostering a growth‑oriented culture.
  • Business: Lead engineering teams to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions that meet customer and market requirements.
  • Manage product lifecycle from ideation through development, launch, and phase‑out.
  • Ensure portfolio competitiveness through innovation, differentiation, and value creation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all engineering activities.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams for new product development and portfolio optimization.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for engineering and portfolio initiatives.
  • Leadership: Lead, manage, and performance‑manage the team of collaborators (annual reviews, employee motivation survey, etc.) and provide constructive feedback necessary for the team to perform effectively.
  • Foster an atmosphere of trust and openness within their scope of responsibility.
  • Cultivate strong collaboration within the department.
  • Train and develop members of the collaborator team to meet expected objectives and follow processes and standards.
  • Your background:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, product management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • 10+ years of experience in portfolio and engineering leadership, preferably in industrial or water treatment sectors.
    • Proven track record in product strategy, innovation, and engineering execution.
    • Strong understanding of market needs, technology trends, and product lifecycle management.
    • Experience in international and matrixed environments.
