Accounting Manager​/Controller

Bell & Associates, Inc. has been engaged to find our client’s next Controller. The Controller will lead all day-to-day finance and accounting operations, financial reporting and will be a key member in strategic initiatives as the organization continues to grow.

Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $/yr

Shawnee, KS

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting and finance needs, including the period close process and general ledger activity
• Prepare financial statements and financial reporting, including grants, with strict adherence to GAAP
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including grants and other restricted funds
• Manage and continuously improve internal controls, SOPs, and accounting and finance policies
• Partner with departments and with the CFO/CEO on strategic financial models and forecasts, providing key financial analysis to support success

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in nonprofit environments, including grant and fund accounting
• Experience with multiple ERP systems
• Extremely accurate with strong attention to detail and knowledge of GAAP controls and standards
