Life Enrichment Coordinator
Lakeview Village, Inc. in Lenexa, Kansas is a not‑for‑profit continuing care retirement community that offers long‑term care, assisted living, sub‑acute rehabilitation, and home health services. We are searching for a caring and dedicated full‑time Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our excellent team of employees.
Responsibilities- Plans, organizes, and directs medically approved recreation programs to meet physical, social, mental and spiritual needs of the residents.
- Responsible for obtaining all supplies and equipment needed, employee and volunteer assistance, and motivating residents to attend.
- Executes activities and events that are part of the activity program for residents.
- Responsible for regulatory compliance by performing appropriate record keeping and charting by maintaining appropriate files to document compliance.
- Facilitates personal interests and social activities for residents, including creating a diversity of opportunities for meaningful pursuits, daily pleasures, recreation, exercise, friendships, social interaction, growth and learning, fun and enjoyment, and personal routines.
Monday‑Friday & Every Other Weekend 9a‑5:30p

- Activities Director Certification required.
- CPR certification required.
- Minimum two years of experience working in an activity program in the last five years, (one year in long‑term care or related field).
- Basic keyboarding skills.
- Basic level knowledge of Microsoft operating system and Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school in Therapeutic recreation or related field preferred.
- CDL preferred.
- High level of customer service skills.
- Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly.
- Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others.
