Position: Employee Experience Advisor

Kiewit is seeking motivated HR professionals to join our Employee Experience team — a high-impact group dedicated to delivering an elevated onboarding, offboarding, and engagement journey for every employee. This Tier 2 team blends human connection with the latest HR technology, including AI-assisted insights, to create seamless, personalized experiences.

District Overview

HR Operations is an integral partner and service provider  recent years, we have gone from decentralized HR groups to a unified, shared service team, with various HR Centers of Excellence. Our vision is to be a best-in-class international HR organization.

Location

This position is based out of Omaha, NE or Lenexa, KS. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting and requiures in-office attendance Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Lead new hires through their first days, ensuring they feel welcomed, prepared, and inspired and continue ensuring their onboarding success through their first week of employment.
  • Partner with managers to make certain offboarding is professional and supportive.
  • Apply listening tools, feedback loops, and data insights to improve processes.
  • Work across HR functions to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
  • Use technology and AI-enhanced insights to personalize experiences and streamline delivery.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in HR, employee experience, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills paired with relationship-building skills.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and comfort with evolving tools and technologies.
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
  • Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
Other Requirements
  • Work productively and meet deadlines timely.
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
  • May work at various different locations and conditions may vary.
