IT Project Manager

PCG is seeking an IT Project Manager for its IT department based in Lenexa, KS.

• Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services
• Drives projects through the project life cycle, tracking progress, escalating issues, coordinating resources with management
• Schedules,facilitates,and supports all scrum events :
  Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review,Sprint Retrospective, etc.
• Maintain sand publishes all project artifacts including but not limited to release log, issues log, resource schedule, testing schedule, agendas, and meeting minutes
• Anticipates, identifies and escalates risks / impediments affecting self, team, department, or company
• Track and monitor team performance daily and help the team achieve their commitments and when problems are identified work with team to develop corrective actions.
• Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
• Look for and suggest improvements in efficiencies to reduce costs and be responsible and accountable as an employee owner
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies

This role is not remote and is required to report in office.

• 2-4 years of Project Management (Agile & Waterfall Methodology)
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or business-related studies
• Certifications for first level : CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP, PSM

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in team environment
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask

• Certifications for second level : A-CSM, PSM-II / III, CSP, CTC
• Local to the Kansas City metro
