EssentialDuties And Responsibilities
- Provide daily direction, guidance, and oversight of maintenance associates and projects.
- Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff, including conducting annual performance reviews.
- Manage and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all production and facility equipment.
- Oversee and provide technical support for repairs and troubleshooting of both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Research, recommend, and implement equipment upgrades and new technology to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate with outside contractors, manage service agreements, and review/approve related invoices.
- Purchase parts, tools, and supplies required for maintenance and facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with all required inspections, including NFPA, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Lead and maintain compliance programs for Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and NFPA 70E Arc Flash training.
- Provide technical support to remote locations as needed.
- Support and promote the company’s safety culture through training, coaching, and daily engagement.
- Assist in preparing and managing the maintenance budget; monitor spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Oversee building systems such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Lead maintenance-related emergency response efforts and develop contingency plans to quickly restore operations following equipment failure or facility issues.
- Support company environmental initiatives; ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and local environmental standards where applicable.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and metrics. Use data to drive decision-making and identify recurring issues.
- Five years’ previous experience in management role in Maintenance required.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess moderate PC skills with experience in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, CMMS programs, PLC programs, (auto CAD is a plus)
- A Certification or proven history in one of the trades, electrical, welding, HVAC, and industrial maintenance are required.
