Job Description

Training Specialists at PCG shape and drive a learning culture. The Project Management Training Facilitator leads the development, delivery and support of instructor‑led, virtual and one‑on‑one training for Project Engineers, Project Managers and Estimators.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with operations to identify training needs and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Assess business situations and develop goals and training/development strategies to improve results and performance.
  • Support content development of formal project‑management & estimating workshops and job aids.
  • Collaborate with product‑line teams to integrate product‑specific knowledge into training.
  • Deliver training that engages participants and motivates them to apply learning on the job.
  • Partner with leadership stakeholders to advise on execution of company policies and procedures.
  • Act as liaison between corporate departments and branches to validate workflow efficiency and resolve inefficiencies.
  • Coach and mentor employees on personal and career development.
  • Provide insights for branch succession and leadership development conversations.
  • Market available training to employees and provide necessary information on sessions.
  • Work with Technical Training and Operations Development teams to ensure appropriate learning formats are used.
  • Create and administer cross‑functional workshops.
  • Identify, train and manage internal SME to mentor new hires and deliver ILE.
  • Network with industry L&D groups to stay current on trends.
  • Assist in developing training content for emerging technologies, tools and processes introduced through innovation programs.

  • Willingness to travel 25‑40% of the time.
