We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Repair Technician responsible for performing complex overhauls, rework, and repairs on a wide range of aircraft equipment and components. This role ensures the continuous flow of operations by executing precision maintenance tasks in both standard and non-standard environments.
What you will do- Assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations.
- Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
- Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels, repair as necessary.
- Conduct inspection of incoming assemblies/components in accordance with established procedures and technical data.
- Perform complete operation checkouts, modifications, disassembly, repairs, reassembly, test calibrations, diagnose, and correct problems.
- Follow repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return.
- Set up necessary repair and test facilities.
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
- Understand, read, write and communicate in English.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer skills & knowledge of computer programs (Word, Excel, Windows, etc.).
- Repair experience.
- Manufacturing experience.
