Warehouse Operator / Material Handler Opportunity

Sirius Staffing is looking for a Warehouse Operator / Material Handler to join our team in Lenexa, KS. This position is a one-year contract with the possibility of extension.

Schedule : 2ND SHIFT : 6 : 45 pm - 7 : 15 am; 3 nights on then 4 nights the following week (work every night over 2 weeks)

Pay Rate : $20.00 per hour + 10% shift differential

Additional requirements :

• 2+ years of warehouse / material handling experience (must-have).
• Candidate must be able to pass the MVR, or no offer

Preferred :
Experienced in working 2nd shift. NOTE :
Steel-toe boots and safety glasses will be provided.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, retrieval, shipping, cycle counting, and housekeeping. This individual will work independently and collaboratively, and must be flexible, safety-conscious, and able to adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift.

• Process receipt, put-away, picking, retrieval, and shipment of raw materials and finished goods.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse areas.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklift and pallet jacks (certification can be obtained).
• Follow ISO, GMP, OSHA, DOT, and IATA regulations and internal SOPs.
• Complete daily housekeeping, maintenance, and special tasks as assigned by the Lead or Logistics Manager.
• Support urgent requests and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
• Demonstrate reliability and consistency in meeting productivity and accuracy expectations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of warehouse / material handling experience (must-have).
• Ability to pass an MVR background check (mandatory).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly, and 50 lbs up to 60 times during a 12-hour shift.
• Basic computer skills (scanning, data entry, PC navigation).
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to learn ISO, GMP, OSHA, DOT, and IATA standards.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification (training available).
• Must wear steel-toe boots and safety glasses (PPE provided).
