Job Title:
General Production Worker
Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you will be part of a team responsible for creating medical testing kits. This role requires attention to detail and involves tasks such as cleaning petri dishes and potentially handling sheep’s blood in bags.
Responsibilities- Ensuring the cleanliness and preparation of kits.
- Lift, twist, and push up to 30 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
- Complete paperwork accurately during shifts and perform basic math calculations using a calculator.
- Participate in packing, quality assurance, production, and documentation of packaging procedures.
- Engage in various warehouse duties as required.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as lifting and twisting.
- Proficiency in basic math skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in production, packaging, picking, or packing is beneficial.

Work EnvironmentWork in a climate-controlled environment that may smell of yeast or vinegar. Some areas can be loud, and earplugs are provided for your comfort. You will work either in small groups or independently. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, and sweatshirts, with scrubs encouraged. Hair nets, safety glasses, and surgical face masks are provided and required.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of LENEXA, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 – $19.55/hr.
