Assembler Role IMMEDIATE HIRING! Job Description
As an Assembler, you will perform electronic, electromechanical, or mechanical production sub‑assembly and assembly operations to build and assemble units of moderate complexity. This role involves working under limited supervision and using various tools to integrate components into sub‑assemblies and assemblies.
Responsibilities- Work from production/assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire, and install a wide variety of components.
- Identify and select components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units.
- Utilize small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.
Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for entire shift, use hand tools, and work well with others.
- 1 year of consistent working experience.
- 6 months of manufacturing work experience or other relevant mechanical experience.
Pay is $20/hr to $21/hr.
Shifts are as follows: 1st shift runs either 5am – 3:30pm or 6am – 4:30pm Monday‑Thursday, with availability needed on Fridays as required. 2nd shift runs 2:30pm – 1am Monday‑Thursday, with Fridays as needed. The noise level is usually moderate, and you may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $21.00/hr.
