Do you love the smell of fresh-baked bread and the satisfaction of creating something special? McKeever Price Chopper is looking for friendly, dependable individuals to join our team as Bakery Clerks. In this role, you’ll help prepare and display bakery products, assist customers with special orders, and keep our bakery department fresh, clean, and inviting.

As a Bakery Clerk, you’ll support the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring quality, freshness, and outstanding service. From stocking cookies and slicing bread to packaging cupcakes and helping customers choose the perfect cake, you’ll play an important role in creating an enjoyable shopping experience.

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and responding to bakery-related inquiries
• Package, label, and stock fresh bakery items such as breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies
• Rotate and face bakery merchandise to ensure freshness and eye appeal
• Assist with slicing, bagging, and displaying bread and other baked goods
• Take custom cake and bakery orders and communicate them clearly to decorators and bakers
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following all health and safety regulations
• Follow store and department policies for quality control and product presentation
• Support bakery team with setup, cleanup, and stocking as needed

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic math and communication skills
• Food service or retail experience preferred but not required

• Ability to stand for long periods (4–8 hour shifts)
• Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
• Repetitive motion, including bending, reaching, and twisting
• Comfortable working in warm and cold environments
