Responsibilities:

• Provide labor for landscape services which may include cultivating lawns or gardens, planting, digging, irrigating, mowing, trimming, pruning, fertilizing, mulching, raking, seeding, sod laying, spraying, weeding, and opening/filling shallow trenches for irrigation/watering systems.
• Use hand/power tools and equipment such as edgers, blowers, and mowers to landscape and maintain grounds of property.
• Assist with sprinkler installation and maintenance (dig trenches approximately 6 inches wide and 12 inches deep after lines are laid).
• Load, unload, move trees, shrubs and landscape materials; remove debris; maintain, clean and repair equipment/tools when not in use.
• Work is generally completed during the period of time specified for the requested workers.
• Must lift/carry 50 lbs. when necessary;
  Saturday and Sunday work required when necessary.
• Post-hire drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers; background checks required of all new workers if they are driving a company vehicle.
• On-the-job training will be provided to the worker.
• Employer pays in advance or reimburses workers in the first workweek for all government-mandated and visa-related fees (excluding passport fees).
• For non-local workers, employer reimburses inbound travel costs at the 50% point in the contract (unless paid in advance). Inbound travel includes transportation costs from worker’s permanent residence or place of recruitment, a daily meal subsistence (currently $16.28 per day minimum or $68.00 per day maximum for workers with acceptable receipts), and reasonable lodging costs, if applicable.
• Travel reimbursements based on least-cost common carrier rate; employer provides or pays outbound travel costs upon completion of the contract period or early dismissal.
• Employer guarantees to offer hours equal to at least three‑quarters of the workdays in each 12‑week period of the total contract period.
• Workers who voluntarily abandon employment are not entitled to payment for outbound travel costs or the full three‑quarters period guarantee.
• Employer provides all tools, supplies and equipment (incl. uniforms, if applicable) necessary to perform duties assigned.
• Applicant shall be responsible for mandatory post-hire background checks and drug testing.

Job Location:

• 20000 West 47th Street Shawnee, KS 66218 and multiple worksites within Douglas, Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, Wyandotte (KS) and Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte (MO) counties.
• Employer provides incidental transport between job sites.

Wage Information:

• Base wage rate not less than $20.15 per hour.
• Overtime rate $30.23 per hour.
• Raises and/or bonuses may be offered at employer’s discretion.
• Workers are paid weekly by check on Friday.
• Standard work schedule is from 7:30 AM until 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 35‑hour workweek.
