As a Master Electrician within our Services Group, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within the commercial and industrial electrical construction industry. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and promptly addressing electrical issues.
Essential Functions- Process knowledge to complete task assignments in all aspects of trade related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, hand sketch and blueprint interpretations, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Ensure safe working conditions through regular site inspections.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently in some aspects of electrical project duties and tasks, including conduit bending, wire pulling, threading, wire terminations, and troubleshooting.
- Operate any and all hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary to perform all trade assignments.
- Assure proper use of company equipment and materials.
- Prepare daily and weekly field reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with state and local electrical codes and safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Commercial and Industrial Experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 3+ years experience through on-the-job training or successful completion of an electrical apprentice program.
- Current and valid state of residence driver's license.
- Ability to read, understand, and execute project scope/specs from blueprints and schematics.
- Can work independently in some aspects of electrical project duties and tasks, including conduit bending, wire pulling, threading, wire terminations, and troubleshooting.
- Occasional overnight travel with weekend trips home.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, and balance.
