Salary Range: 66,000 USD – 130,000 USD

• You will build, integrate, and deploy a variety of software projects, from Windows applications to embedded software for galley systems.
• You will gain exposure to systems engineering principles and understand how software fits into the bigger picture of product development.
• You will work in a hands‑on engineering environment where you can turn classroom knowledge into real solutions.
• You will contribute directly to active programs and R&D projects at Collins Interior Systems.
• You will take ownership of your own project tasks or subprojects, with mentorship from experienced engineers.
• You will collaborate with global teams across our sites in the Netherlands, India, and the Philippines.
• You will participate in key software lifecycle activities, including code reviews, documentation, testing, and validation.

• You will learn how to work effectively with international stakeholders and cross‑functional engineering teams.
• You will learn the fundamentals of regulatory and customer compliance in aerospace software development.
• You will learn how to identify and drive continuous improvement in both products and processes.
• You will learn the foundations of aerospace innovation, contributing to next‑generation galley insert and chiller products.
• You will learn best practices for developing and maintaining software in diverse development environments.

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined in 22 CFR 120.62.

• A self‑starter who enjoys hands‑on problem solving and has a passion for Python and/or C programming.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to analyze hardware/software test requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks.
