Material Handler

DaVinci Roofscapes is a fast-growing roofing materials manufacturer based in Lenexa, Kansas. We are hiring an experienced Material Handler for the Warehouse. Attractive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision available day one.

This position is primarily responsible for moving pallets inside the warehouse from one department to another. It also involves loading and unloading freight carriers with product, raw materials, maintenance items, molds, pallets, etc., while keeping the warehouse organized and clean on a daily basis.

• Move product from molding department into the warehouse.
• Unload product from freight carriers delivered to the company.
• Organize and clean the warehouse; load product onto freight carriers as set up by DaVinci or by our customers.
• Check forklift on a daily basis and report forklift issues to maintenance.

Ensure correct pallets are loaded onto freight carriers. Pull all packing slips off product unloaded from freight carriers and delivered to the Warehouse Manager. Ensure product moved from molding has been checked per the transfer sheet.

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
