Summary:
Applies gelcoat to the mold using an atomized spray gun process system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Must possess the ability to use and understand air assisted gelcoat equipment.
* Ability to calibrate and apply gelcoat consistent with Cobalt quality.
* Read and understand work orders then apply gelcoat on parts based on production order specifications.
* Maintain gelcoat equipment by performing periodic and routine maintenance of equipment.
* Assist in manually moving molds in and out of the gelcoat booths.
* General housekeeping of area and equipment.
* Assists in changing out 55-gallon drums and 5-gallon pails of material at gel pumps.
* Must demonstrate the ability to make sound quality decisions independently.
* Other duties as required.
