We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. You don’t need to be an expert in tearing down motors (but if you are, that’s a plus) – a background in automotive parts is helpful.
This role offers a great opportunity whether you aim to build a career as a Parts Specialist, want full/part-time work, or are exploring other career paths with us. We welcome all!
What You Will Be Doing
Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.Using your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members with customer questions.Delivering outstanding customer service and engaging with everyone who enters our store.Bringing customer focus and energy to our fast-paced environment.Welcoming retail customers and ensuring a positive experience.Using technology (computer, cash register, telephone, paper catalog).This Is The Right Opportunity For You If You
Enjoy helping customers with their auto parts and service questions.Have gained experience through working in the automotive industry or tinkering with cars and trucks.Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you don’t have prior experience.Want to grow your career with us—opportunities are endless!What You’ll Need
Valid Driver’s LicenseExperience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn.High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses are a plus.Excellent communication skills.Enjoy fast-paced retail environments.Great listening skills and empathy for customers.Additional Qualifications (Preferred but not mandatory)
Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries.Experience in a parts store, auction, retail, auto body, or collision shop.Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems.Customer-centric mindset.ASE Certifications.What’s In It For You
