Hospitalist Needed in Western North Carolina. UNC Caldwell is the choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. UNC Physician Network provides the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations throughout the county. Our 137-bed licensed hospital is a member of the UNC Health System located in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains.

• Work with a team of experienced and highly skilled physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners
• Focus on teamwork, work-life balance, and flexibility
• Standardized documentation and extensive resources to ensure maximal efficiency and support while minimizing unnecessary and time consuming duties
• 12 hour shifts, 7 on 7 off rotation, 7a-7p. NO NIGHTS; there is a dedicated nocturnist
• Open ICU with onsite Critical Care/Intensivist. Procedures optional but not required (training available)

• EMR - Epic
• In house specialty backup available from Cardiology, Nephrology, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, ENT, Pulmonology, Podiatry, Urology
