- Support the execution, compliance, and enhancement of internal and external safety programs.
- Drive a behaviour‑based safety culture to achieve accident prevention and loss mitigation at E2 Optics customer locations.
- Ensure all employees follow safe work practices and adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures.
- Provide safety and health training, instruction, and coaching to ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations.
- Assist the Safety Manager with incident/accident investigations, subsequent documentation, problem solving, and implementation of countermeasures.
- Conduct and/or participate in safety audits to review practices and records to ensure compliance with relevant H&S programs and OSHA regulations.
- Track, trend, and drive structured problem‑solving for recurring safety issues that prohibit the realization of performance targets.
- Travel minimally (5%) as required by E2 Optics.
- High School Diploma required;
Associate’s Degree preferred. - 2‑3 years of occupational health and/or safety experience in a construction environment.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Ability to positively influence and encourage others.

The standard work environment for this position is an indoor business office and construction environment. Typical noise levels are moderate. Job duties include sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Employees may also climb ladders up to 20 feet and operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs if required.
