Senior JD Edwards CNC Administrator

Skye Blue Consulting has been engaged to find aSr JDE CNC Administrator for one of our top clients in Western North Carolina. The client is a small (but growing!) pharma firm with competitive salaries, great benefits and is located in the beautiful foothills area.

Proficiency with the following areas is required to be effective in this position:

• Familiarity with DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Strong knowledge of the JD Edwards Enterprise One Technical Foundation tools and CNC functionality.
• JD Edwards 8.0 upgrade experience a plus (and 9.2 a huge bonus).
• Experience with IBM AS/400 a plus.
• Excellent technical knowledge, aptitude and experience in JDE application software and troubleshooting/problem solving techniques.
• 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry with a general understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, Good Automation Manufacturing Practices (GAMP) 5 and Eudra Lex Volume 4-Annex 11.
• Familiar with JDE table structure a plus
• Experience with Create Form a plus
• Experience with ERP2

Essential Functions

• Responsible for maintenance, support and deployment of JDE Enterprise One.
• Perform day-to-day support, administration and problem resolution of the applications. Also responsible for the daily maintenance, patch updates and testing.
• OMW installation, setup and project promotions.
• Server and client package build and deployments.
• Apply ESUs, ASUs, Updates and Service Pack upgrades.
• JDE Administration of security, print, batch queues, performance tuning and monitoring via SAW.
• Create and manage environments, pathcodes and instances.
• Monitor and manage application system performance and availability.
• Provide complete and timely support for end users.
• Keep current and up-to-date with application architecture, ESU and service pack releases, functionality, and other CNC components.
• Proactive performance tuning & risk mitigation.
• Support third party system interfaces including Create Form, Vertex, Snap Pay, ERP2
  
  WEB, Qlikview, and others using ODBC connections.
• Execute installation qualification test scripts for package builds and Create Form project promotion
• Perform Data refresh activities
• Create standard operating procedures for routine tasks.
• Troubleshooting / support activities within the branch and field support

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One 8.0, with 9.2 highly preferred.
• Experience with Install, Setup, Configuration and package builds.
