Hourly Range: $31.00 – $33.00 /hour

Schedule: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, 2/3 rotating shift

Our growing company is looking for a Team Performance Lead to join our team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follows and has a high regard for safety rules and housekeeping procedures. Supports safety systems through incident investigation, awareness, risk analysis, and training.
  • Supports all quality systems with a focus on minimizing quality rework.
  • Provides coaching and development through effective and constructive feedback and clear expectations to ensure site goals are met; energizes and motivates the team.
  • Maintains a strong attendance record and plans ahead for any exceptions.
  • Assists in managing production employees during operation with a positive attitude.
  • Actively participates in continuous improvement and Lean principles to drive process improvements and increase efficiency. Assists in developing and implementing cost‑saving initiatives.
  • Ensures planned metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost are met.
  • Adheres to the escalation policy to communicate any support required or obstacles in achieving planned metrics.
  • Documents a consistent data‑based decision‑making track record to achieve desired results and collaborates with the team to improve outcomes safely for customers.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and expresses thoughts and opinions with clarity, accuracy, and attention to detail; manages employee‑relations situations.
  • Initiates safety, quality, and performance activities on the shop floor; demonstrates outstanding troubleshooting skills on processes and equipment.
  • Pays close attention to detail and coordinates multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision.
  • Assists in all aspects of employee development and training, ensuring cross‑training matrix enables flexibility.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2‑4 year degree or pursuing degree – preferred, not required; and/or 3+ years of manufacturing and management or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to solve high school‑level mathematical problems.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime with little or no notice.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs several times each day.
  • Ability to stand for periods of up to 4 hours at a time.
