The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for overhead cost analysis and allocation reports, budget assistance, reporting and review, interaction with management and area directors to document variances from budget and prior results, assessment of overall financial performance, systems review and design to improve efficiencies, and financial assessment of proposed new programs or services. Design, prepare and evaluate various internal and external analytical and financial reports to enhance readability and decision making.
Decision making in absence of Controller and Accounting Manager.
- Assists and prepares year‑end schedules for audit.
- Works closely with department directors to coordinate revenue and expenses.
- Maintains access database for budget process; responsible for producing final financial/budget reports.
- Completes journal entries for G/L system and participates in the financial statement monthly close process.
- Reviews and analyzes financial statements for designated departments and discusses with department area supervisors to explain variances.
- Reconciles specified balance sheets monthly as well as income statement accounts of areas requiring a high level of accounting complexity.
- Designs, produces and reviews daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports.

QualificationsExperience:
At least 1‑2 years in a related field.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
