Nurse; LPN or RN - Weekend Warrior

Mount Carmel Care Center, a Faith‑Based, non‑profit long‑term care facility in Great Barrington, MA, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to work as a Weekend Warrior. The position is full‑time (7 am‑11 pm or 7 am‑9 pm) every Saturday and Sunday.

• Assist the Unit/Shift Supervisor in identifying problems and developing care plans.
• Perform early shift assessments of all residents, conduct periodic evaluations, and report any changes.
• Assess resident care needs using the Minimum Data Set, Resident Assessment protocols, and interdisciplinary care plans.
• Document resident condition changes in the medical record.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and treatments.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Valid LPN or RN license in Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: 1 year experience in a nursing home setting.
• Ability to supervise and delegate tasks.

7 am‑11 pm or 7 am‑9 pm every Saturday and Sunday. Pay ranges from $35.50 to $47.50 per hour, commensurate with license level and experience, plus additional shift differential.
