Licensed Practical Nurse – Full Time or Part Time at Mount Carmel Care Center.

Mount Carmel Care Center is a faith‑based, nonprofit, boutique‑sized long‑term care facility in the Berkshires with 69 beds, sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm.

Location:

Great Barrington, MA.

• $35.50 – $40.50 per hour, depending on experience, with additional pay for shift differentials.
• $1,200 sign‑on bonus for full‑time LPNs.

• Assist the unit/shift supervisor in planning, organizing, and directing nursing unit activities.
• Identify and develop correction plans for resident care deficits.
• Perform early and periodic assessments of residents, reporting changes.
• Assess resident care needs per Minimum Data Set, Resident Assessment protocols, and interdisciplinary care plans.
• Document resident condition changes in the medical record.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and treatments.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Preferred: 1 year nursing home experience.
• Ability to supervise and delegate.
