Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager to join their established construction team on a substantial residential development in Leominster.

Working directly under an experienced Senior Site Manager, you will play an important role in the successful delivery of a large residential development.

You will assist with the day-to-day management of site operations, subcontractors, construction programmes and build quality, ensuring homes are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

This position offers excellent exposure to all aspects of residential construction, with the support of an experienced management team and a clear opportunity to progress into a Site Manager position.

• Support the Senior Site Manager with the daily management of a large residential development.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and suppliers to maintain construction programmes.
• Monitor build quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain excellent health and safety standards across the development.
• Undertake site inspections and assist with NHBC compliance.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity and workmanship.
• Assist with site logistics, material deliveries and resource planning.
• Oversee plot completions, snagging and handovers.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and quality documentation.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day construction issues.
• Work closely with the Senior Site Manager to ensure the development is delivered safely, on time and to budget.

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential house building.
• Ideally experience working for a national or regional PLC house builder.
• Strong understanding of traditional residential construction methods.
• SMSTS and First Aid qualifications are essential.
• Good knowledge of NHBC standards and building regulations.
• A proven track record of maintaining high standards of build quality.
• Stable employment history with good longevity in previous roles.
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Ambitious, motivated and keen to progress into Site Management.

• Basic salary up to £55,000, depending on experience.
