ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

Typical day / Responsibilities A Guest Advocate’s day varies, but typically includes the following responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests who need assistance to help solve their specific needs
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate features in the Target App, including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering and assist guests with enrollment, activation and use
• Handle returns following policies and consult leadership as needed
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely, comply with safety policies, report hazards and correct where possible
• Support guest services such as order pick up and drive-up while following applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
