Position Overview
ABA Tutor - High School Level at Leominster Public Schools
, Center for Technical Education Innovation, School Year . Full‑time position. The district seeks ABA tutors for substantially separate ABA‑based classrooms. Candidates should be quick learners, team players, and effective communicators with a passion for special education and ability to connect with students and staff.
- Four‑year degree preferred.
- Ability to relate to and work with disabled children.
- Excellent integrity and demonstration of good moral character and initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
- Previous experience with Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.
- Assist students with all instructional and non‑instructional tasks as assigned by the teacher.
- Collect data, use student program books; share updates with staff.
- Assist students in preparation of all materials and books.
- Assist teacher in related clerical work.
- Use computers and/or electronic equipment to fulfill job functions and support remote learning.
- Serve as a role model for students and staff in demonstrating positive attitudes, appropriate attire and grooming, and effective work ethic.
- Participate in appropriate in‑service and workshop programs and attend any required meetings.
- Display ethical behavior when working with students, parents, school personnel, and outside agencies associated with the school.
- Protect confidentiality of records and information as part of professional duties; use discretion in sharing information within legal confines.
