Job OverviewIf you have a passion for building capability in others, Georgia‑Pacific Consumer Operations is seeking a qualified professional to lead the transformation of learning and development processes at our Dixie® Cutlery manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with leaders to ensure L&D solutions support the business vision.
- Support a multilingual organization and develop tailored learning solutions.
- Oversee onboarding for all new hires and enhance programs for effective learning.
- Assist in developing and maintaining effective training programs.
- Establish a comprehensive, matrix‑structured training program applicable to all roles.
- Own technical training and maintain the health of technical learning solutions.
- Promote a culture of continuous and lifelong learning.
- Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of learning content.
- Create annual training calendar and manage all learning records.
- Share updates on engagement and achievement in learning activities.
- Improve, innovate, and implement training best practices.
- Network internally and externally for emerging technologies.
- Advanced education or certification beyond high school in corporate education beneficial.
- Formal experience in learning and development.
- Experience using content authoring software and LMS or KMS.
- Experience with simulator technology as part of learning solutions.
- Strong understanding of change management and stakeholder analysis using OCM concepts.
- Teaching profession experience.
- Project management for learning implementation.
- Experience working with various stakeholders.
- Experience in tracking learning participation and documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including One Note and Teams.
- Technical writing experience.
