Magical Beginnings is seeking an experienced Childcare Center Director / Early Childhood Education (ECE) Director to lead our licensed early learning center in Leominster, MA
. This is a hands‑on, on‑site leadership role responsible for daily operations, staff leadership, licensing compliance, enrollment oversight, and building a strong, stable school culture that serves local children and families.

, lead educators with confidence, and maintain្ទ full compliance with Massachusetts EEC regulations—while staying deeply connected to the Leominster community.
- 🏫 Childcare Center Operations & EECIw Compliance
- Oversee daily operations of a licensed childcare/preschool center in Leominster
- Ensure full compliance with Massachusetts EEC regulations, ratios, and licensing standards
- Maintain accurate child, staff, and licensing documentation
- Prepare for and lead EEC visits, inspections, and audits
- Conduct daily building, classroom, and playground safety checks
- Ensure drills, inspections, and renewals are completed on schedule
- Schedule staff effectively while staying within payroll guidelines
You’ll be the operational anchor for the school.
- 🎓 Early Childhood Education & Instructional Leadership
- Lead curriculum implementation aligned with state and quality standards
- Coach teachers on classroom management and instructional practices
- Ensure educators complete the required ECE professional development hours
- Promote social‑emotional learning for children and staff

- 🤝 Staff Leadership & School Culture
- Lead, mentor, and retain teachers and support staff
- Set clear expectations and foster a calm, accountable, and caring culture
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback
- Lead monthly staff meetings and connection time
- Serve as a mandated reporter and ensure staff understand responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with staff and families in the Leominster community

- 💼 Enrollment, Recruiting & Financial Oversight
- Partner with enrollment and recruiting teams to support staffing needs
- Conduct tours for Leominster‑area families
- Interview and hire educators aligned
Exceptionally with ECE and childcare standards - Oversee timekeeping, payroll processes, and center‑level budgeting
- Monitor enrollment trends and operational expenses responsibly
You’ll balance quality, compliance, and sustainability

- EEC Director II Certification (required)
- Experience leading a licensed childcare or preschool program in Massachusetts
- Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or related field
- OR:
Associate’s Degree / CDA with a defined path to a Bachelor’s Degree and additional experience - Ability to complete the required in‑person training hours
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for school events or trainings
- Physical ability to actively engage in classrooms and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
