Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Industrial Machinery)

Company: Broomfield Labs

Travel: Some travel required 10-15%

Experience: 3–5 years

Pay: $85,000–$130,000 DOE

Role

Design complete electrical packages for industrial machinery (coil winding machines), including controls architecture, PLC programming, and electrical panels.

• Design end-to-end electrical systems for machines (power distribution, control panels, machine wiring)
• Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, I/O lists, and Bo Ms
• Specify and integrate PLCs, I/O, sensors, actuators, drives, and safety components
• Support machine build/debug with technicians and mechanical engineering
• Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC control systems
• Assist with machine commissioning at customer site
• Maintain documentation and manage design revisions
• Provide customer support as needed

• 3–5 years electrical engineering experience supporting industrial machinery
• PLC programming experience including troubleshooting/commissioning, Rockwell preferred.
• Experience designing electrical panels and producing full electrical documentation packages
• Strong hands‑on debugging skills in a shop/manufacturing environment

• AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN experience
• Experience with Motion a plus
