Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a
** Speech and Language Pathologist
- Early Intervention
** who is interested in working (10-24 hrs/wk). Flexible hours available - days, early evenings and/or Saturdays on a fee-for-service basis in the North Worcester County area. The Early Intervention (EI) team provides strength-based, family-centered services for young children under three years of age who have developmental delays or are at risk of a developmental delay. Services are designed to meet the needs of each infant or toddler, and the needs of their family.
The EI team provides services with the goal of enhancing the child’s communication, physical, cognitive, social-emotional and adaptive skills.
** Responsibilities:
*** Provides direct intervention services to children 0 - 3 and their families.
* Carries out service coordination functions when appropriate as defined by the Early Intervention standards.
* Assists in transition planning prior to discharge from the program.
* Referrals to outside agencies as needed.
* Maintains client records and other administrative duties according to DPH and Lipton Early Intervention policies.
* Attends staff and/or region meetings as required.
* Attends in-service education and professional meetings as required.
* Performs related duties as assigned.
* Adhere and complete all CHL's protocols, policies, and procedures.
* Early Intervention services provided both in-person and/or by Telehealth.
* Maintains regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
* Maintains confidentiality
* Ability to work independently and contribute to the overall success of the team.
* Flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, verbal, written and communication skills.
* Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.

* Qualifications:
*** Master’s degree or Higher prepared graduate of a curriculum in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology;
License in good Standing
* CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 6 months of employment.
* Department of Public Health CEIS Certification or eligible for certification.
* NPI or apply for NPI (National Provider Identifier number).
* Current MA License in Speech-Language pathology and Audiology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence
* Current valid US-issued driver’s license and ability to provide a registered and insured automobile for work related…
