Pay

The starting hourly pay rate for this position is $18.50 + benefits. This information is specific to Leominster, MA and may not be applicable to other locations.

What your day in this role might involve at OC-Leominster

Under minimal supervision the Assembler/ Admin Asst. will print and distribute work orders, measure, cut and assemble various door parts across multiple business lines. Tasks require a high level of mental alertness and attention to detail.

What makes a successful OC Leominster team member:
Must haves

• High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 Years Old
• Able to read and clearly communicate in English
• Basic computer knowledge and skill
• Able to pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screening
• Experience with:
  • Working safely and following all plant rules
  • Showing initiative, being a self‑starter
  • Ability to multi‑task
  • Work independently, as well as part of a team
• Read a tape measure and do basic math

Would be terrific if you also had

• Preferably one year experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with:
  • Thinking under pressure, making quick and strategic decisions
  • Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility
  • Show initiative, be a self‑starter, and be able to train and coach others

Essential physical requirements

• Stand for 8-10 hours
• Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed for the role
• Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 50‑pounds)
• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
• Handle, control and feel raw materials and finished goods
