Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse – Part Time

Benchmark Senior Living seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN) for a part‑time role, earning up to $44.50 per hour. Work days are 7 a‑3 p or evenings 2 p‑10 p, with an hourly rate starting $35.00 and increasing with experience.

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status.
• Observe and report significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations.
• Direct and supervise daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor, guide, and direct Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Balance service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognize and assist in preventing elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and report to appropriate sources per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and personal emergency response system and know when to call for backup.

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program per state requirements.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.
