Field Technician

An Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Technician will be responsible for installation of low voltage outdoor lighting systems generally in residential settings, but also in commercial environments. • Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations
• Speaking with the customer to upsell other products
• Providing the customer with system orientation as applicable
• Proper care and operation of company vehicles
• Ensuring there are proper inventory levels
• Running and burying low voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns
• Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs
• Cleaning up all areas affected by the installation
• Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable
• Being on time for work and working the required hours; overtime may be necessary occasionally
• Keeping the truck clean and organized
• Trenching and general labor work
• Dressing appropriately; OLP shirts and hats will be provided; jeans/shorts for work days
• Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available

• Has a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)
• Makes a good first impression by being well-groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable meeting new people
• Enjoys interacting with customers with respect and integrity
• Has technical ability
• Pays attention to detail and respects customers’ property
• Is systematic in approach
• Demonstrates a strong sense of pride and integrity in work product

• High school diploma or GED
• Electrical experience
• Landscape experience
• Construction experience

Compensation: $25.00 – $25.00 per hour.
