Teknor Apex Company is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to support our global operations in manufacturing custom compound solutions.

• Communicate daily with production, sales, customer service, and carriers to review open orders and ensure timely shipment.
• Coordinate ship dates, order changes, freight rates, and service delays with customer service.
• Schedule and coordinate 3PLs and customer carriers and maintain an efficient shipping schedule.
• Prepare and complete required reports for traffic, shipping, and customers.
• Document inbound and outbound load schedules, detention, and drivers throughout the day.
• Track freight costs, manage inbound/outbound loads, and log carrier movements in a timely manner.
• Maintain 6S housekeeping standards and identify quality issues to meet established productivity standards.
• Adhere to safety policies, 6S standards, and preserve a safe work environment.
• Perform other related responsibilities as required or directed.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of clerical experience required.
• 1-3 years of transportation and shipping experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Time‑management and decision‑making skills.
• General office skills and strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
• Prior transportation and shipping experience helpful.

• Stand for long periods, squat, bend, twist, and turn as needed.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
