Med Star Health is looking for a full‑time Patient Service Coordinator to join our Primary Care department in Leonardtown, Md. As a Patient Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing the best customer service to patients by greeting them with a warm and friendly smile, checking in/out processes, gathering demographic information, insurance verifications, taking copayments, and scheduling. The Patient Service Coordinator manages the intake of patients into the practice, screens for emergent conditions, registers, verifies, and explains patient responsibility for payment. Coordinates efficient patient flow through the practice or the hospitalized department assigned.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum qualifications:
6 months to 1 year of providing high‑quality customer service, preferably in a health‑care setting. High School Diploma.
This position has a hiring range of $18.7 - $32.72.
