• Must pass Relias ECG Rhythm Interpretation Exam (minimum overall score 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms)
• Traveling experience: accepts first‑time travelers; weekend coverage every other weekend (6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks per contract)
• Floats within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Minimum 2 years experience required

• Diabetes, congestive heart failure, infection, sepsis, COPD, general surgery (kidney stones, appendectomy, minor amputations), sickle cell crisis, GI bleed, diverticulitis, general medicine/observation

• Special procedures: large orthopedic program (total joints), colorectal surgeries, vascular procedures, bariatric surgery (adult unit only)
• Special equipment: patient lifts (ceiling and portable), CADD pump, chest tubes, telemetry monitoring, capnography
• Ratio: 1:5
• Average daily census: 30
