Travel Mammography Technologist - Mammography

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(M), ARRT(R) certification for an outpatient setting.

• ARRT(M), ARRT(R), and BLS certification required
• MD Radiographer License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography required
• Minimum of 1 completed travel assignment required unless candidate has complete mammo competency
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency in radiation safety and digital quality assurance procedures preferred

• Outpatient mammography setting
• 5x8 day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Performs 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, stereotactic biopsy, and prone/upright biopsies
• Uses Hologic 3D and Hologic Affi BX imaging and biopsy equipment
• Perform a range of mammography procedures including diagnostic, screening, and 3-D mammography, biopsies, and needle localizations
• Flu vaccine required for all employees
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate within 60 miles
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of assignment, with a maximum of 7 days permitted per 13-week contract
• Candidates with previous employment at this health system must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
