Courier​/Stock Room Assistant

General Summary of Position

Deliver and pickup packages between MSMH and designated locations. A set courier route/schedule will be maintained. Stat pickups and deliveries will also occur. Employee will assist in stock room as needed.

• Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards and safety standards.
• Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.
• Picks up and delivers various packages and supplies to all Med Star St. Mary's locations on a regular scheduled route.
• Meets time requirements of set courier route.
• Picks up and delivers mail twice a day between the Med Star Office Services Center and USPS.
• Ensures certified and return receipt mail is properly handled.
• Completes all banking deposits for business office and delivers all receipts, charge tickets (Visa and Master Card) to Bank of America and PNC bank.
• Picks up and delivers lab specimens from many locations with the end of day goal of returning prior to the Reference Lab pick in the evening.
• Picks up pharmaceuticals for delivery along route.
• Picks up and delivers supplies ordered by the off-site locations, including Stat or AdHoc runs as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED required or
• equivalent. required

• DL - Valid State Driver's License in good standing Must possess and maintain current Maryland Drivers license. required and
• Must maintain clean driving record. required

This position has a hiring range of $18 - $29.74
