Band 2 - Salary Range £26,696 to £28,988 per annum (pro rata)
Plus Distant Islands Allowance £2,578 per annum (pro rata)
Clerical Officers provide general clerical support to the secretarial team to ensure that clinics, theatre sessions, reception services and ward clerical work is organised efficiently and timely, and that patient data and clinical notes are filed correctly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide general clerical support to the secretarial team.
- Ensure clinics, theatre sessions, reception services, and ward clerical work are organised efficiently and timely.
- File patient data and clinical notes accurately.
Requirements:
- Experience working effectively in a team.
- Excellent communication skills and good attention to detail.
- Good standard of general education.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Compliance with the Induction Standards and the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers is required within three months of commencing employment.
Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or update their PVG status prior to a formal offer of employment.
