Casual Programme Worker - STEM Education (Sessional Work)

Salary: £122/day or £15.25/hour + holiday pay

Opportunities available during school holidays, term time and occasional residentials

We're looking for enthusiastic Casual Programme Workers to lead activities, support young people and help deliver exciting hands‑on STEM experiences.

• Deliver engaging STEM workshops (virtual & in‑person)
• Lead and motivate groups of young people
• Provide safeguarding and pastoral support
• Support logistics, sign‑in/out and activity setup
• Work with schools, industry partners and host venues

• Confidence communicating with young people
• Friendly, proactive and professional
• Strong organisational skills and reliability
• Experience in youth work or STEM is desirable

• PVG (or willingness to obtain)
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to travel; some overnight stays may be required

If you are successful in your application to become an EDT Sessional Worker, you will be added to our pool of sessional workers and will hear about the opportunties available as they arise throughout the year. The following are the current dates we have available for sessional work.

• Shetland - 8th - 10th September 2026
• Aberdeen Or Stonehaven - 6th - 8th October 2026
• Dundee - 10th - 12th November 2026
