Position
Podiatrist () – Substantive, Full Time 36 hours per week
Location & ServiceBased at Lerwick Health Centre; clinical duties include other clinics at Gilbert Bain Hospital, Independent Living Centre, outlying health centres, domiciliary visits and care homes. Travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide podiatric interventions to the population of Shetland.
- Work in specialist clinics: musculoskeletal, diabetes & wound care, rotational nail surgery clinics.
- Organise workloads in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support professional development and service improvement activities.
- Qualified Podiatrist.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to travel across the service area.
- Recent graduates with interest in expanding clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
Band 5 salary range: £34,544 to £43,039 per annum. Distant Island Allowance: £2,578 per annum. Relocation assistance of up to £8,000 available.
