Specialist Biomedical Scientist ()

  • Fixed Term 12 months cover maternity leave
  • Full Time – 36 hours per week
  • Band 6 - Salary Range £43,231 - £52,679 per annum
  • Distant Island Allowance of £2,578 per annum
  • Relocation Assistance of up to £4000

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our Laboratory team at the most northerly hospital in the UK as a Specialist. You must have a minimum of 2-year experience working in a UK NHS Hospital Laboratory.

You will be able to bring an enthusiastic approach to the role and have proven knowledge and skills across Blood Science disciplines or a willingness to undertake training in this multidisciplinary role. You will be State Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). Once trained you will be required to participate in the multi-disciplinary on-call roster.
