Senior Social Care Worker - Supervisor responsibilities include providing support to individuals in a variety of settings, ensuring a high standard of service delivery and supporting individuals to live well through their strengths, skills, community and personal gifts. The role requires ensuring that individuals receive high standards of care and support in accordance with relevant legislation and national guidance. The supervisor will provide person‑centred support and maintain a positive ethos that promotes independence within personal capabilities and outcomes.

- This post is career graded; salary and progression depend on experience and qualifications.
- Salary includes the Distant Islands Allowance of £2,997 per annum (pro‑rated).
- Permanent full‑time post: 37.0 hours per week, 52.18 weeks per year.
- Preferred candidates must join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme or update prior to offer.
- Successful candidate must register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) when beginning post.
- Relocation package does not apply to this post.
- Interview expenses will be paid within Shetland.
- Candidate must be able to travel throughout Shetland at short notice; where transport is limited.
- Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.
