Job Summary
The Community Handyperson role provides front‑line maintenance services for Shetland Islands Council, directly supporting a small local island community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first‑line maintenance service throughout the Shetland Islands.
- Grade G.
- Pay inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £1.5523 per hour.
- Permanent part‑time post: 22.0 hours per week, 52.18 weeks per year.
- No relocation package applicable.
- Interview expenses paid from within Shetland.
- Must travel throughout Shetland at short notice where public transport is limited.
- Flexible working arrangements available.
