Do you have a working knowledge of Systm One and ERS (Choose & Book/e-Referrals)? Are you reliable, organised, and able to hit the ground running in a busy GP practice environment?

Can you work full time hours Monday - Friday ?

We are currently working with a well-established NHS GP Practice in Letchford that is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

* Processing and sending referrals

* Insurance and private documents

* Managing e-Referrals via ERS (Choose & Book)

* Summarising patient notes and medical records

* General secretarial and administrative duties

* Using appropriate medical terminology accurately

* Supporting clinicians and the wider practice team

Essential Requirements

* Previous experience working as a Medical Secretary within an NHS GP Practice

* Strong working knowledge of Systm One

* Experience using ERS (Electronic Referral Service / Choose & Book)

* Excellent typing and administrative skills

* Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload

* Immediate availability or short notice preferred
