We are looking for an Estimator to join a growing residential contractor specialising in high‑quality domestic projects. You will take ownership of the estimating function and play a key role in the business’s growth.

We deliver a wide range of domestic refurbishment, extension and new build projects across Hertfordshire and need commercial support to continue our growth.

You will be responsible for producing accurate estimates from detailed drawings, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, preparing bills of quantities and tender enquiries, and monitoring project costs and margins. Working directly with the Director, you will take ownership of projects from enquiry through to handover while improving processes.

• Produce accurate estimates for domestic refurbishments, extensions and new build projects from detailed drawings
• Produce and manage bills of quantities and tender enquiries
• Work closely with the Director to support ongoing growth of the business

Based at the office in Letchworth, with sites throughout Hertfordshire.

• Estimator with experience in domestic or residential construction
• Ability to price projects individually
• Personable, approachable and self‑sufficient
• Commutable distance to the office in Letchworth
