Class Education are working with a Letchworth Primary School who are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join there supportive team on a part-time, mornings-only basis.

About the Role

* Hours:

Mornings only (exact hours to be confirmed, typically during the school day)

* Contract:

Part-time, term-time only

* Start date:

As soon as possible

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing, both in the classroom and in small groups.

Key Responsibilities

* Support pupils with their learning and engagement in lessons

* Assist the class teacher with classroom activities and preparation

* Provide additional support to individuals or small groups as needed

* Help create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment

* Support pupils’ social and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate Will

* Have experience working with children (school-based experience desirable but not essential)

* Be patient, nurturing and enthusiastic about supporting young learners

* Have good communication and teamwork skills

* Be reliable and committed to morning-only working hours

* Share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
